Love this place.
Upon walking in, you immediately smell the baked goods. The layout of the store is very spacious and flowy.
My first time here, i was confused about what to do. I came in the afternoon and there were no trays. I also had no idea that you can walk around and grab your own items and you have to bring them to the register. Its like a cafeteria for sweets. I saw people on line with all of the stuff they were purchasing in their hands, so i went and grabbed some tissue paper and picked what i wanted. Its a little uncomfortable to do that. I felt like i needed tongs or utensils to grab the items. The second time i visited this store was in the morning and i still didnt see any trays. My third visit, had trays and this was in the afternoon. The tray did make it easier to carry the items.
The prices here are pretty reasonable. Everything in NYC is expensive now a days so it's good to not see all the pastries priced at $10. The mini milk loafs are a favorite of mines and they are $4 almost $5. They have twist donuts with cinnamon sugar and those are huge and delish. Most of the items they have just look so good. I cant wait to continue trying them.
They also have drinks here, salads, sandwiches (both bkft and lunch).
This place always looks very clean and neat which i appreciate. The lines at the registers are always long and typically go fast.
I really like this place and plan on continuing to visit.
Food is exceptional but the ambience is stale. We ordered the strawberry cream layer cake which was deliciously light and airy with the occasional strawberry piece in a bite. There are so many pastry options here. There is also plenty of seating if you just need a place to sit and rest for a few minutes.
My experience is always wonderful the Manager and baristas are all kind and gracious. My coffee is exceptional and I never have to wait. I would recommend anyone looking for delicious sweets and great! Service to head over. You will love this place.
Yolanda is incredibly rude upon entering establishment I wanted to use the restroom as the line was long and the service was slow regardless she was arrogant stating that the bathroom was for paying customers only and by me being a frequent paying customer was shocked at her clear rude operating image I explained that I am a paying customer always and her line was clearly long and slow. Beyond belief that she was still rude with a disgusting demeanor.
Although under-staffed for the holidays (I waited a solid 10m for a small latte), the brew and goodies here are swell for a rest stop away from madcap Manhattan. Folks were friendly and tables were open, and the restroom was accessible. I appreciated the variety of healthy options beyond baked goods, although I felt confident my choice of feuillete au chocolate was the right one when I paired its crunchy sweet crust with the zazz of the latte.
The food is tasty but a little over priced!!! Their service is super slow though!! I waited 10-15 when I did not go in the busy hours!
The donuts are tastyyyyy!! Presentation is 10/10!! I wanted to grab everything!!! The cakes look delicious!!!
Croissants are my favorite but they are over priced!! But still taste good!!!
Would visit again but hope their service gets faster
A delightful surprise for a chain cafe! Desserts are light and moist and perfectly sweet. Presentation 10/10. $6 for a slice of cake. $4 for latte. Oh and they give you the cutest little boxes. It’s like your very own gift. Great place to take family and guest that come for visits.
Would have rated higher however the checkout process and queuing was not the best. Not bad by any means. Very polite.
One of the best cafes I have visited in NYC. The cafe is suitable for a coffee/tea date or a nice study or work session.
I recommend the vanilla and chocolate cronuts, which are deliciously filled with a nice surprise.
